Starrett Duratec Super Flexback blades have a flexible steel backer with a hardened tooth edge and provide a great value. Use these blades to cut wood, plastic, aluminum, brass, bronze, and even thin steels. 

Select your number of teeth per inch for best cutting performance. You can always contact us for a specific recommendation, but our basic recommendations are listed below.

Material Thickness - Recommended teeth per inch:

• Under 1/4" thick - 18 to 24
• 1/4" - 1/2" thick - 14 to 18
• 1/2" - 1" thick - 10 to 14
• 1" - 2" thick - 6
• 2" - 3" thick - 4
• Over 3" thick - 3 or less
